Incredibly, it’s the last day of frujch. I don’t know how we got here so fast, but somehow we did.

WE WILL MISS ALL OF YOU.

For all the smiles you’ve given us, the understanding you’ve exhibited (during the lunch hour rush!! We know it’s hard when you’re so hungry), the constructive feedback, compliments, jokes you’ve shared with us, 21st birthdays and gatherings you’ve celebrated at frujch, ping pong balls you’ve thrown at beer pong, applause you’ve given to the great performers during HalfTime & TipsyTues/TipsyThurs…… thank you!

Frujch Me Baby One Last Time‘s going to be everything frujch represents - a place to unwind with your friends in SMU, talk nonsense and just chill. The very reason we started frujch in the first place.

Have a little laugh today as we put up our favourite Mel Brook’s comedy on our not-great-but-can-do screen. And what better time to do this than April Fool’s when we remember not to take everything too seriously!

‘Twas mad, mad mercurial sort of creatures that joined my party the night before last! Numerous odd shapes and sizes they appeared in. Meself spied goofy ears, bright wigs, satan horns, army helmets, an Arabian princess, a 1930s aviator and a sparkly fairy of disturbingly XY-chromosome origin.

Me madhat mate, Jonny-Bosom-Friend-Of-Me-Heart, presided over the championships as usual while Mistress M, Mistress V and LittleLouLou gave rousing performances as competent gamemasters while looking very pretty.

 

Preliminaries went by quickly like a wee birdie on a train, then the semis (consisting of Uncle Heng’s Team, Project Namatse Dogs, Uncle Heng II & KingFisher) went by like a wee birdie eating brussel sprouts on a train and then we trumpted for THE FINALS OF THE LAST BEER PONG CHAMPIONSHIPS :

When solaris was three-starpoints high in the sky and the daffodils were dancing, the finals escalated to a heart-stopping one-last-cup tension and by one final lucky throw, KINGFISHER was crowned the 2008 CHAMPIONS !

 

 

So ’tis thy..hasrmhfsidhfffs….ffffpphh!!!!!

WAAHOOOOYEAH! Bring it on!

Beer Pong’s in less than 18 hours and are we excited! Tons of facebooking going on with all the frujchaholics asking each other what’ll be on top of each other heads tomorrow (literally) and teams getting their spirits high (figuratively).

We can’t wait!!

22 teams again, but with even more participants this time. What’s amazing is that out of those 22 teams, 10 teams are returning participants! Frujch Beer Pong loyalists – rock on! ALL the champions are back once again… with descendents, apaprently.

 There’s the champions for Beer Pong I (Sailors, who have reproduced to 2 teams: Sailors & Captain Jack Sparrow), Beer Pong II (Uncle Heng’s Team which has even more eyebrown-raising powers of reproduction: Uncle Heng’s Team, Uncle Heng the 2nd, Uncle Heng the 3rd) and Beer Pong III (BeerBellied Beans I , BeerBellied Beans II…who even have their OWN LOGO. these people are SERIOUS.)

All will begin at 7.15pm on March 11th, Tuesday(TODAY!) and there’ll be free beer for you so long as you dress to the theme! What’s the theme? Very simple.

Headgear &/ Colours!

headgear= hat, scarf, bunny ears, a sitting duck.. .anything as long as it’s on your head!
colours = something bright please!

So drag those musty hippie-mama headscarves out of your parent’s closet, rummage your own wardrobe corners for colourful threads or run out to get that straw hat fast! (hint: Chinatown! cheapcheap!)

 There will also be exclusive zouk invites , movie posters sponsored by United International Pictures (UIP) and this great hangover-cure tablet (useful,eh?) to be given out.

Stereometa will also be playing and we guarantee you, those djs play good music.

But more than that, it’s the last time to slum it out at beer pong, the frujch way, so come on down and have some fun!

CLAM SAVE THE CHOWDER

The wind was blowing hard against the cliff. Lightning flashed, outlining the menacing silhouette of Count Spoon. It was futile; Shell’s hand was already slipping from Clam’s grasp. She twisted away with a sudden jerk. Falling into the dark abyss she looked back at Clam’s white face and screamed: “GO CLAM! SAVE THE CHOWDER!”
